My husband and I were dating for 5 years before we got married. He played soccer and I would often go watch him play, especially during the beginning stages of our relationship. I'll always remember the day I went to see him play one of his soccer games. We had been dating for a couple of months and were really into each other at this point. Although it was a close game, his team ended up losing the game which upset him. Our walk to the car was not a very cheerful moment, and you can sense his disappointment. So I just tried to talk to him and get his mind off the whole game. I remember going into the car and he turned to me and said, "I love you...I just love you! I know you may not feel it, but I love you!" It wasn't planned but at that moment I knew it was from the heart and that I had found the man I wanted to be with forever! We've been married for almost 2 years and are expecting our first child any week now. To this day that day will always be my most romantic moment!
